PROPERTY SELLING PROCESS IN ENGLAND
The process of selling a property can be daunting anywhere in the world but thanks to the strict governance in England, it has been well thought through. There are checks and balances at every turn to ensure the safeguarding of your investment. Agree, that it is lengthy, but not to worry, we are here to guide you.
Here are the High-level steps involved in Selling your property in England.

Step 1: The Property owner calls an Estate Agent for Valuation to find out how much their Property is worth in the current Economic climate. The Estate agent conducts their Research, carries out a site visit and presents their finding. If the owner is satisfied, they sign a contract to start the selling process

Step 2: Where the Estate agent takes Pictures, Floorplan, arranges EPC (Energy Performance Certificate), and prepares Property brochure
​
Step 3: Estate agent advertises the Property, and contacts potential buyers on their books
​
Step 4: Estate agent qualifies potential Buyers to ensure that time is not wasted for either parties. Our vetting process is fair and transparent for all parties.

Step 5: Estate agent arranges viewing slots, accompanies buyers on the visit, conducts the viewing, obtains feedback, and updates the seller
​
Step 6: When buyer(s) makes an offer the Estate agent negotiates the best price for both parties. Also negotiating on other T&Cs such as timeline, as well as Fixtures and Fittings
​
Step 7: Once the Sale is agreed, or in other words that the Property is Under Offer, the Estate agent conducts legal duties, overseas communication between all parties in the chain including Solicitors and Mortgage brokers, supports the surveyor, and ensures timely Exchange and Completion
